Who is it for? 

 

TI-Nspire Regional CPD 

A two-day course, with time to practice using TI-Nspire between sessions. These are run around the country, usually in schools and colleges. Courses are free and even include and refreshments 

  • Head/PT of department
  • ASTs, Lead Teachers etc
  • Subject teachers
  • GTTP, student teachers
  • STEM professionals  

 

On Demand

We arrange for a Tł trainer to run a half-day, twilight or one-day session. This is usually aimed at teachers who are new to TI-Nspire, but could be follow-up sessions for TI-84 Plus users. The focus is chosen by the group, for example: data logging, 11-16 topics, post 16 interests e.g. IB etc.

  • School departments (eight or more teachers)
  • Academies (eight or more teachers)
  • PGCE and PGDE departments
  • Local branch meetings e.g. MA, ATM, NCETM

 

Local User Group 

We support local user groups in meeting to exchange experiences and share best practice  

  • Practitioners within a geographical area, who have an interest in developing the use of ICT in maths and science teaching 

 

Seminar Sessions

Tł Trainers deliver sessions at the main subject association conferences  

  • Delegates at subject association conferences, exhibitions etc.  

 As an example, as a delegate at a Tł regional CPD day, you will:

  • Have the chance to try out TI-Nspire software and handheld devices
  • Be provided with a First Steps Guide and suggestions for classroom activities
  • Have access to a free loan service to try out the technology in the classroom
  • Receive a special offer to purchase discounted equipment.
